Dominating a community pie bake-off takes time and research.
My approach to find the perfect recipes is scientific. Each test pie is rated against a 20-point scale. The scale has five categories:
Overall appearance
Crust
Consistency/texture
Taste
A perfect pie would earn 5 points in each category, for a total score of 20.
Each Pie Shark recipe needs to earn a perfect 20.
Or better.
